Stay healthy is by no means only to stay away from diseases; Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind and spirit. Suffering from disease is like you are willing to pay price to regain your own well being. Find out in the following article, how to take care of your body and mind to stay fit.

It starts from you routine habits. Include a proper sleeping routine in your lifestyle. There is a famous quote which says something like” I have never taken any exercise except sleeping and relaxing. Studies suggest that sleeping less than six hours a night, can contribute to health problems. This includes, High blood pressure, disorders in immune system and weight gain. Sleeping is a good way to avoid weight gain. First it restrict you to eat while you are sleeping, secondly studies elaborate that proper sleep is necessary to maintain the amount of calories. Therefore sleep 7 to 9 hours, in a proper relaxing atmosphere for quality health.

Read books and make yourself busy in the day time. Follow the proper schedule of working hours. Do not work excessively in routine. Avoid any type of stress including work stress, which is common in modern men’s life. Include extracurricular activities and sports in routine life, other than work. Try to solve puzzles and mind games, to make your mind sharper. Whenever your hands engaged with anything that can make you sick, wash your hands. Maintain the balance in each and every relationship around you. Avoid drinking, smoking and unsafe sex. These habits promise a safe body, healthy mind and contented soul.

If you want to stay healthy, you should fix an exercise routine. If you do not have time to go for a gym, then you should try to strengthen your body at home or in park. You should spend proper time for a           daily walk. Exercise helps you to increase metabolism and avoid health risk like, heart diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis and several other medical conditions. Exercise also increases your mental efficiency.

There is a famous Chinese proverb, He who takes medicine and neglects to diet wastes the skill of his doctors. Eat healthy food and take proper diet. Food builds the tissue of your body, gives proper nourishment and energy to your body. You should eat a proper diet, which should include appropriate amount of nutrient. Nutrients are chemicals and substances, human body needs for growth, build the tissues and repair the damaged tissues.  You must have heard about carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, water and mineral, include proper amount of these nutrients in your eating routine.  Avoid heavy meals; eat vegetables, fruits and meat, drink good amount of water to lose weight and try to burn the calories you consume before you gain weight.
